Well, I was born in Northampton (England) on the 22nd of October 1966. I lived in and around Northampton until 1973 then moved to a nice little fishing village called New Quay which is on the Cardigan Bay in West Wales.  In 1978 I moved to Lagos which is on the South coast of Portugal. It was there that I settled and finished school etc.

In 1993 I went out to Cyprus and stayed there for just under 3 years. Not a bad place, but my heart was back in Portugal and there I returned in 1996. After a few ups and downs and a couple of trips/stays back in the UK I finely came back to Portugal in 2003 where I have remained.

It was in 2003, just after getting back to Portugal, that I met that someone special on a chat site. Within a few short weeks of chatting online and via the phone, we finely met up in Lisbon and spent our first weekend together in her home town, Almada.

Well, we hit it off straight from the start and within 3 months I popped the question and Fernanda said yes. Two years later we got married in our friends hotel bang in the middle of our beloved Alentejo (Portugal’s biggest province). Since then we have continued to  live in Almada, but we hope to sell up and move down into the Alentejo where life is so much better than life in the city.
